knuckles

my k5 creaks badly when i turn and when i back up and go forward with the tires turned.a guy at the tire shop said it sounds like the knuckels are dry..havent experienced this before so not sure what im dealing with..what can i do to make it stop making that annoying sound?!

i would get another opinion,,no offence but hes a tire guy,and the knuckle is connected to the upper and lower ball joints and outer tie rod ends ,

 

get a mechanics stethascope and a buddy and search and find the noise or pay a shop for a diagnoses only..

 

what im saying is ,it is a vague statement ,lots of stuff is moving while turning

None of my vehicles share this same issue. Get under there and tighten some shit up LOL. :-D

i greased the joints and tightened a few things up it does it when im rolling while its turned also. can it just be my steering box rubbing on cracked frame

jack it up and spin the wheels by hand, check your wheel bearings etc etc
