You will have more luck on here if you introduced yourself, posted pics of your ride etc. instead of just wanting some answers. :banghead:

I have no experience to give you in regards to your question.

katzkins are generally one of the best aftermarket kits.

I had an 05 Silverado and found a set of leather seat covers on ebay from a GM dealer going out of business...cost $400 for the set and were super.

Install was a bit@h, and took me four days....the third day my fingers hurt so bad I could not work on it. I had to remove all the seats, take them apart, re-install the new leather covers, and re-install everything in the truck. I swore I would never do it again. BUt the results were wonderful and they held up well.

Now I am getting ready to do it again to my 09 Silverado...just waiting to find a deal on the leather...good luck.

I have leather from leatherseats.com and they are as good as any I have seen anywhere else. Pics are in my gallery. I did the install myself and I had some questions that were quickly and courteously answered by phone from their support person. The leather is better than you will find in the factory seats, which have vinyl in the rear. You get leather only in the front seats from the factory. The kits from leatherseats.com also come with vinyl coverings for the molded plastic seat backs that really enhance the appearance when seated in the back.

Any leather will show wear after a while if you slide across it entering or exiting the truck. Mine show a little over the driver side, seat bolster but they have 40,000 miles on them and that's what I'd expect with any vehicle. Some manufacturers use vinyl in heavy wear areas to solve this problem, but I'd rather have the leather.

I checked your gallery, it appears to be empty. The message that appears is "There are no albums to list"

I have Clazzio seat covers in my Silverado. Was going to order them with grey stitching but decided against it because my center cup holder area would have looked out of place. The cover that comes wit hthe kit for that area is terrible IMO, doesn't even come close to looking good.

If I could do it over again, I would have done it right and went with real replacement covers, like Katskinz.

OK - I fixed the problem with the album. The photos are available now!

I don't run this forum but I can tell you from being around a while your above comments are uncalled for and won't be tolerated. It was a suggestion made to you, a new member. Relax or you most likely won't be here long.

Use the search feature and enter "leatherseats". There will be about 23 results...most of them have reviews of leatherseats.com, with a few of the posts having pictures of installs.

I have heard that if you put a garbage bag over the foam in the back rest the leather will slide right on, you can pull the plastic bag out after you are done, of just leave it in there. Too tight to make any rustling noises if you choose to leave them in there.
