Trying to decide on new Tires 275/55/20 for my 09 crew cab

Ok so I've got a 09' chevy crew cab silverado 1500. I don't do alot of driving with this truck maybe 5-6000 miles/yr and am looking to replace the goodyears ls2's currently on my truck in the near future. I saw the discount tire coupon and am pretty eager to jump on the good deal and save $100. Most of my driving is on paved roads a majority of which is highway driving. I live in the northeast so a good winter tire is also a priority. Money isn't really an object here as these tires should last me for quite sometime until they dry rot most likely. I'd continue w/ the goodyears but they stink in the snow & wet traction is minimal at best. So I'm looking for something with better traction, good mpg, and low road noise.

Some tire models I've been looking at were:

kotspacer.gif Michelin LTX M/S 2 $244

Yokohama Parada Spec-X $189

kotspacer.gif Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza $226

They michelins & bridgestones seem very comparable and the yokohamas have a singificant tire wear rating lower than the other two but if traction is improved I'm not to worried about replacing these in 6yrs or so.

Discuss...and thanks for any input!

The michelins are more but worth it. Just put them on my wife's denali about 6 months ago and love them. Will be putting them on my truck when the current tires wear out.

go with the michelins, I just had the same ones installed on my 2011 GMC sierra, worth the extra 20 bucks per tire over the bridgestones..
