What's your favorite mud tire?

I am running Hercules Trail Digger M/T's. In my opinion, they are a good tire for the money. They are somewhat similar to MT Baja MTZ's.

I have Hankook DynoPro MT on mine. They run really great and don't mess with my mpg very much and the tread stays pretty well had them for over 2 years and still haven't had to replace. I had them in the MO blizzard of 2011 and I was driving everywhere they were saying the National Guard could only get through with their hummers. Had to pick up all my friends for work who all had trucks as well. The z71 rear locking differential helped a lot but the tires was the money maker.

If noise isn't a problem (which on my 01 cummins with 5" stack it wasn't) I say nitto mud grapplers. The chewed through anything. However road manners sucked.

 

 

If like me you get tired of driving with constant airplane noises, I went to a goodyear duratrac, also good in mud, however the Wrangler territories are my favorite all around tire. Too bad they are so heavy (as are most M/T's)
