Hit a deer two weeks ago and this is my second one in a year.

That stinks, especially being the 2nd time. The deer population seems to be continuing to grow in my area as well. They are everywhere.

Damn that sucks man! I would take Z71 AST's advice and invest in a BUCKSTOP! Your insurance co might even foot the bill hahaha

Yeah i was stressed about driving the rental and hitting another deer. Thankfully my insurance is cool and even after the second deer my insurance said it wont go up. I go today to pick my truck up and I am just ready to get it back.

I've heard of buckstop, but I think Ranchhands are a lot more reasonable on price. A local company, Thunderstruck, is who made mine. $950 for this is a lot cheaper than fixing it when you hit a deer. I wouldn't go without one in my area. I like how the Ranchands wrap around the side of the truck around the lights, the Buckstops don't really.

I like deer hunting but not like that!! I haven't hit one yet but it happens a lot here too.

just get you a warn trans4mer off craigslist for like 250 bucks its strong as anything and can hold a winch

Got my truck back yesterday they did a great job and even put a chrome grill in. The front looks brand new!

 

I have looked at buckstop and ranch hands and really consider getting something after the second time. I didnt know there were that many different brands.

With what your insurance just spent you could have used that to buy a front end replacement....oh well, maybe next time.

I know the feeling ..I hit a deer about a year and half ago and it wasnt pretty but was able to drive my truck 250 miles home...Love them CHEVYS BABY !!!!!
