Suspension Upgrades

06 Sierra 5.3 Ext Cab 5.5' Box w/ 45k KM (approx 30k Miles)

 

I'm admittedly entirely unfamiliar with what sort of suspension is even employed in said truck but my complaint is going over bigger obstacles like rough train tracks or potholes is really exaggerated. Not ridiculously so but I just wanted the ride to be a bit firmer, I don't like the feeling of bottoming out the suspension (although I'm sure I'm not) Would replacing the Shocks all around help? If so recommendations are welcome (As a side note the more bolt-on said addition is the better xD)
