I have an 87 chevy 350 TBI. It will run if you dump gas in the

TBI. but will not spray fuel thru the injectors.

I have changed the TBI, distributer, and coil.

I can hear the fuel pump and have fuel right to the

TBI.

What else could it be?

Thanks,

van

Have you checked the fuel pump pressure? Should be between 9-13 lbs. Not enough pressure, or fuel pump regulator in TBI is bad and you won't have enough pressure for the injetors to fire. Also check that the injectors are getting the pulses from the computer.

I have good fuel pressure. I don't think I am getting a pulse from the computer.

So what does that mean? The computer is bad?

Or a wire problem?

Thanks,

First off, how do know the fuel pressure is good? Have you installed the necessary fitting and put a gauge on it? If you did it that way, then you have something in the wiring bad or the computer.... ;)

Check the wiring going to the oil pressure switch, make sure one hasn't grounded against the nearby exhaust manifold.Mine did and wouldn't start....the ECM won't let the engine start if it sees no oil pressure.
