Looks awesome, how much clearance on fore/aft of the rear tires? Any issues you think when towing heavier loads once the rear sags a little? No straight on close up view, looks amazing though, wish I was able to do that to my truck.. hell I wish I could upgrade mine and then do that ;)

About 3" in front of the rear tire, 2" in back. I've already had it somewhat stuffed offroad and towed our boat, all without any issue. Extra springs in the back keep it from squatting much though.

How are the tires treating you? I had toyo mt's on my 99 silverado and the ride became really harsh. They were also heavy, very heavy. That soaked up what little power the truck had and killed the fuel milage. I just want your honest opinion. My last set looked awesome and lasted what seemed like forever. It seems like my next tires will be from Nitto/Toyo or Mickey Thompson aside from there heavy weights.

I had another set of 295/70/17 (33x11.5) Toyo MTs on my truck prior to this most recent set. In the 45k miles they were installed, I never had one problem with them. They still rode great, were not loud, pulled like hell offroad and had a ton of tread left (the only real sign of wear was the outermost lug edges from when turning while mounted on the front wheels). I kept them rotated every 10k or so, and ran about 37-40 psi of pressure. It also helps that I was able to sell them on Craigslist (again after 45k) for more than half of what I paid for them 3.5 years earlier. But yes, they are a little on the heavy side. Thats one reason I've gone with the metric sizes vs. the standard 33x12.5 or 35x12.5 to try to conserve some power......that is until I get around to a gear swap.

It will take something revolutionary to hit the market for me to ever own another mud or all-terrain tire. I've owned many, and Toyo MTs are 2nd to none IMHO.

Yeah from what I'm seeing, If I re-gear at the same time as new tires I might consider Toyo M/T's again. If not I'm leaning towards Nitto Terra Graps for weight and "Hopefully" a smoother ride. Roads are really harsh within a 5 mile radius around the house.

Truck looks Great! Your truck is what I used as a model when I lifted my truck a year ago. I also am in need of some new rubber, but I have not had as good of luck with my Toyo's. I think having an alignment issue from the start is part of my problem, but the tires are very loud. I am thinking that the wear on the tire has a lot to do with the noise, but I really dont want to spend that much money on tires this time around and have another noise issue, however I cant get myself to give up the aggressive look of the MT. I was thinking about Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ's but I have heard they are also loud. Do you have a noise issue with your Toyo MT's?

I was also thinking about going with larger tire this time around but didnt know how well the rancho lift would clear a bigger tire. I see you only had to trim a little plastic which I am fine with, but my wheels are 5mm backspacing and I am worried I may rub some metal if I go with a larger tire size.

In case you are ever wondering, here is a little update regarding 35" tires on stock wheels with the Rancho kit only:

After a year and 20k in miles with the 285/75/18 (35x11.5) size, it bugged me that they looked a little narrow and I found myself wanting the wider 35x12.5 Toyo MTs for that 'perfect look' I've been striving for. I put a new set on last week and finally think I have achieved the best look possible for the truck. Totally pleased and never think I will change away from this most recent setup.

Oh yeah, no additional trimming required either (I did slightly trim the front plastic airdam when the initial 35s went on last year). There is a slight sidewall rub on the lower control arms only on hard over steering lock while in reverse, and even then it is only due to the aggressive Toyo sidewall pattern. If you had a less aggressive sidewall you probably would not have an issue at all. Nothing I can't live with and no other issues noted (including stuffing the tires while driving offroad / towing).
