No DIC v4?

You should be able to feel the change in engine mode.....On both of my AFM trucks you could feel it kicking in and out before it was disabled. Can also feel it on my brothers 2010 and my neighbors brand new 2013. When I took my neighbor to the dealership last week, every 2013 I drove could be felt going in and out ov 4/8. Either my trucks and all of the ones on the lot are defective, or you are used to it and no longer notice.

how do you disable it? It would be nice if i could turn it off for towing and on during regular driving on my terms.

I believe it gets temporarily disabled when you press the Tow/Haul button on your shifter, but doing this also re-maps your tranny for towing via stronger shifts as well as staying in gear through a higher rpm range.

If I am wrong, someone will be around shortly to correct me.

Tow/haul won't disable it but you can usually tell when it is on if you listen carefully, even with a stock exhaust. If you want it off, run the truck in M4 or M5 as AFM won't turn on. I also kind of doubt it will be on much anyhow while towing just because of the load on the engine.

Mine is on a lot while towing w/ T/H enabled, but only downhill. Just fyi: adding the DIC is very easy. ~$90 for the part.
