CapitalTruck Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 I need some good off road/snow tires for my 2wd. I'm going to get a set of duratracs for the rear. Having said that, I don't think I want to put those on the front. Should I just put the duratracs on the rear? It seems like they wouldn't help at all on the front of a 2wd truck.
rebelman06 Posted October 2, 2012 Posted October 2, 2012 Are they going to be strictly winter tires or all you going to use them all year? Placing them only on the rear will screw up your tire rotation and cause uneven wear. I also think mismatched tires will look weird. When I put BFG A/T's on my 2wd, I bought four, but I also needed four new tires.
CapitalTruck Posted October 2, 2012 Author Posted October 2, 2012 These would be strictly winter/off roading tires for when I go hunting. I have an extra set of rims and can take them on/off
