Have you considered Line X on the trailer deck after you replace it? I did an enclosed trailer floor with it, and it was bulletproof. Not the same setup as you, but pretty solid and the wood will not soak up anything, especially if you undercoat the bottom...

I would if the price wasn't what it would be for a trailer. Now if it was an enclosed trailer like you have then I would look at it a lot closer.

 

There is times I have had a pallet of the landscape block (short retaining wall blocks) on it, and the pallet get pushed forward to load the trailer correctly. Probably would tear the LineX apart doing that.

Line X should hold up to the push, if not it may be warranteed.?., just make sure your brakes are set as the transmission may not!
