oil change

Changed my oil but don't know how to get the change oil light to go out on my 2001 durmax. Can anyone help me out? Thanks. Can:flag:

its in the owners manual

 

turn the key to run.  Press the gas pedal 5 times (i think its 5 just do it about 5-8 times) within 5 seconds

 

the change oil light will flash

key to on only, press gas pedal completely 3 successive times, oil message will flash...it's reset.
