Fuel Filter ?

04, the same year they switched to the in-tank filter.

i had someone tell me my cats went bad because my fuel filter was dirty. havent gotten around to changing it because its seized on.

My friend had a mechanic tell her the same thing! Fuel filter was dirty after changing it, she passed aircare.

Call me ocd but since I have a changeable filter and its so cheap and easy to do I swap in a new one every 3rd oil change

Best way to know for sure is look inside the drivers side frame rail. If you have one, that's where it'll be. Flex-fuel vehicles still had serviceable filters through '05 iirc

To the guy asking about interval. Go by your recommended schedule. I changed mine on my car after 90,000km ended the engine stumbling. Previous owner (my sister) never did it. Anyways oil change place (got lazy one time) tried telling me it needed to be changed because its rusty...

 

Should have seen the look when I told him it was done 5k km ago lol.

 

That's why I tell the gf not to trust oil change shacks.
