at my rounded figure to 4.5 liters to gallon and one to one dollars rate as the canadian dollar is .998 to the 1 us dollar comes to about 6.17 a gallon.

It's bad but not that bad. There's actually 3.78L per gallon. 4.5L per gallon would be for an Imperial gallon not American. Works out closer to 4.33ish. Still terrible especially considering how much oil and gas are produced in Alberta...

I dunno man, it's pretty expensive dude...and that's just it. We have all the oil and gas in north America but nothing is refine here. It's all sent south, we don't save anything for ourselves. All foreign companies up here grabbing the oil. I'm not gonna get into it cuz I've been warned about politics before lol. But let's just say its very upsetting to me, as I'm one of the blue collar fellas on the front lines of this operation keeping the equipement running in the mine that scoops this oil out of the ground and I'm STILL payin this much for fuel. It's frustrating.

Sucks, but I just buy it, and quit letting it bother me. Not much I can do about it, and I enjoy owning a truck to much to give it up so I guess I'm stuck. I'm paying $3.96 for Premium 93 Octane in my area.

Oh ya that price was for regular fuel, premium was another 10 cents/litre. That's for my work truck, diesel usually hovers around 1.25/1.35 where I'm from...

I totally agree with you. But as another poster mentioned I do enjoy driving my truck and the utility it offers me when pulling a trailer or hauling camping gear etc to think of giving it up for some little econo-box.

What the hell is going on with this world that fuel costs this much, glad I don't have to pay for much fuel. Work takes care of that, either way it's crazy. Keep in mind this photo is taken in fort McMurray, where millions of barrels are produced everyday!!!!! post-65833-135150095951_thumb.jpg

WOW I thought we had it bad in BC! It angers me that we as a country produce so much but across the line its 20 cents cheaper a liter, I know we tax the heck out of gas. I think all the american warring sucks alot of the worlds diesel as well. Hence the higher diesel price.
