Road Trip

Well I am off to Chyenne, 550miles from here, I was planing on leaving a few hours ago, but oh well. I make this trip quite often, though this time I am going trailerless. I want to see if I can get atleast 13mpg(most I have gotten on this trip unloaded is 11.5mpg, though at 85mph most of the way), Raton Pass just kills the milage. I am also going to top off my tires and remove the lead from my foot to see if it will help. I could be taking my subaru or my buick, but I love my truck. I am sure knowbody cares, but I am just sitting here and felt like typing.

Enjoy. I'm trying to figure out where to go for the spring vacation in late March-early Feb...Dad and I have rented a car the last 2 years...Nashville 1 year, VA Beach the 2nd. I prefer driving somewhere south. We usually take 2-3 days plus a weekend. Any thoughts? I'm in Ohio, so it'd be somewhere nearby.
