What should I change?

I think Rigid makes a lot of them, but I'm not looking for bright so much as a good fog pattern. And they're pricey. Thanks to GM my brights are kick ass. The Hella fogs I was looking at were $100, with pretty good reviews. Thinking about getting them and wiring to a foot switch to keep the dash clean.

Since we have the same exact truck you know what A/T's, a level, painted grill shell, and a change of bowtie looks like by looking at my sig and I attached clearer photos. The next things I'm doing is losing the side molding and powder coating the tow hooks and trailer hitch.

Good looking truck by the way!

Where did you get the chrome bowtie? And how much were you charged to paint the grille surround? I like how you kept some shine on the truck. And the rims of course. :)

I would watch it, but TV is $35 a month, and I'm way too cheap for that. Oh and I already have a little dog that sits on the dash, so I always have a shotgun rider. As a bonus, he's cute and girls like him.

as a tech ,loose the ugly PITA bumper/bush guard crap ,yuck,,my opinion only of course

,,cranking keys throws of alignment but you guys know whats rite lololol

Much prettier than a truck that's been run into a deer. As a tech maybe you've priced headlights, grilles, bumpers, etc, which are all more expensive than the full front end replacement. I understand if you don't like it from a looks standpoint, but I do a lot of country driving and for me practicality always comes first.

The alignment, CV angles, and all are why I haven't leveled it yet. Plus when I have the boat and gear loaded it sits level. Maybe a level + blocks.

please dont do steps unless you plan on lifting it steps on a stock truck look like hell imo, i think you should do a rear bumper to match your front, demold and do some sick fogs.

Local shop charged me $100 to prep and paint the grille.

The billet bowtie was off Ebay for like $40 shipped.

Thank you Captain Obvious, an alignment was done immediately following my crank and it was WELL within spec. BJ's, toe rod ends, idler and pittman stay greased at each oil change and before you go off about wear and tear with a torsion crank stop, it's not new info to me.

cranking they stock keys to make it level will make it ride like shit, your better off getting new keys and cranking them halfway up.

if you take the molding off, buy a 3M eraser wheel.

I may just have them take em off when it's in for the grille. One of my colormatched bars between turn and headlight has a major chip that needs fixed, plus my pinstripes need off, yesterday!!!

I know the light bars are pricey, but I'll look out for deals.

Not to start an arguement but there is no difference between stock keys and aftermarket keys other than the aftermarket keys are re-indexed to allow cranking further than stock. So the statement that cranked stock keys ride worse than aftermarket keys isn't true. The bad ride results from the shocks not being long enough and they must be replaced. Fully cranking stock keys compaired to half cranking aftermarket keys only has one difference, the amount of threads showing on the bolt.

my keys are cranked up an inch and it rides great but i wont do any higher for that reason.. cranking stock keys all the way imo isnt smart.

i dont know what the right answer is but when i cranked my stock keys to the max it rode horribly and it still wasnt level, then i put them back down and the ride was back to the way it originally was. then later on i got 3" keys with shock extenders and the ride was still the way it was. thats just my experience
