02 2500 Avalanche Posted January 15, 2003 Posted January 15, 2003 That must have been one #### of a landing for that what 6000 pound truck? That is a sick picture though
BlueRado Posted January 15, 2003 Posted January 15, 2003 I bet that driver had a $hi* eating grin on his face till he hit the deck - although I think he had a pretty good launch angle where all 4 wheels hit about the same time. Maybe I'll mosey over to motortrend.com to see if there's video.
k1500chevy97 Posted January 15, 2003 Posted January 15, 2003 That will be Mervz next week when he is testing that H2

No video that I could find, but there was an extended write-up (relative to the mag article) of the cross-continent trip they took it on. The text says no damage (at least visible). At least he didn't do the old nose-dive like that poor sod (stupid sod in fact) did this summer w/ his rado, that everybody was talking about!

Hmmm I thought it was a Sierra ??? Yeah, you might be right on that one, K1500. Mostly what I remember is totaled relatively new GM truck (see that's what happens when you get into your da*n 40's ).
