What do I do????? My truck is locked up at the dealership

I dropped my truck off yesterday to get my transmission and transfer case serviced.

 

I could not come pick the truck up before they closed, so the service guy said he would leave the keys in a place we agreed on.

 

I go to pick the truck up and the keys aren't there!?!?

 

I call this morning, they are closed until Wednesday. I have to be back at work on Wedsneday early in the AM.

 

The sales manager just laughed at me.

 

 

What the hell should I do?

You only have one set of keys?

 

 

1.Call a friend

2.Call a cab

3.Take the bus

Raise hell until they give you your keys.

 

I always keep a spare on the truck, hidden.

I'd agree with raising hell, keep calling till they remedy it. Maybe get you a loaner till yours is ready?

Locked as in inside their service bay behind a door or locked as in just behind some gate ? Anyway you have a spare key and can just drive it off of said dealership?

Tell the sales manager to call the service guy at home and tell him to get his butt down to the dealership and release your truck. Just driving off with it could be viewed as theft of service.

Raising a little hell got results. I won't go back to buy a car but I would go back for service.
