Service Stabilitrak and Traction Control Error Messages

I just completed a system install, in which i took out the seats, unlplugged and plugged harnesses. I also install all new speakers, new wiring, head unit. See here: http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=148827

 

Now I'm recieving the Service Stabilitrak and Traction Control error messages. Also, the Traction Control light stays on while driving. I've checked to make sure everything that was unplugged was replugged. Not sure why I'm getting the errors. Thanks in advance.

I don't follow. How do I go about doing that?

A dealer or a private mechanic that has a Tech II reader or a reader capable of pulling codes off the body computer. Those codes will tell you the issue. There are multiple issues that can pop each message

I was hoping to avoid a trip to a dealer or mechanic and more so looking for a easier solution.

Newer vehicle. Sometimes its unavoidable. A standard code reader cant pick up those fault codes

check for pinched wires...

check that you reconnected the wires on the seatbelt

Not sure what the yaw/lat sensor is but I did disconnect the harness on the floor, removed the seats to install sound deadening on the floor.

Small box bolted to the floor under the passenger seat. Small electrical connector on it.

That was left in place but the wire was disconnected from it.

Problem solved. Plug shown in picture was plugged into yaw/lat sensor and voilà. Guess I was tired on the first go round.
