Man, some people are stupid. This guy stole a Buick Rendevous from a local dealer. He ended up in a high speed chase during rush hour. They edventually used OnStar to catch him. Who the #### would steal a Rendevous in the first place? What a dumbass. The police cheif was even more of a dumbass. When asked why he decided to chase this guy during rush hour, he replied: "why not". Dumbass could have killed someone over some POS stolen Buick!

PORT ROYAL, Va. - First he left a telling trail of $100 bills as he tried to stuff the money in his pockets and, when this bank robber reached his getaway car, he found the keys had been locked inside.

It didn't get any better Wednesday for the masked man who entered the Union Bank & Trust north of Richmond.

Police said the suspect, 61-year-old Edward Butler Blaine, fled on foot after beating on the car window with a piece of wood. Bystanders then began to chase him, police said.

When the bystanders caught him, Blaine tried to shoot them, but instead shot himself in the leg, Caroline County Sheriff Homer Johnson said. One of the men also shot him as they continued to struggle.

Blaine was charged with eight felonies, including robbery and two counts of attempted murder, Johnson said. He was hospitalized in Richmond for one night and was being held in jail Friday, authorities said.

All the money was recovered, Caroline County Sheriff's Capt. Scott Moser said.

Well we had 3 bank robberies in the last couple weeks of November and early December...got all 3 suspects within 12 hours- 2 of the 3 within minutes...#3 was my grab, in fact I just got a commendation yesterday:)

How about the 2 Canadian youths, one 18 one 19, that car jacked a pizza delivery guy. They had trouble making their get away because neither could drive a stick and only make it a few yards. They jumped out of the car, beat the pizza guy and stole his pizza bag, and try to escape on foot. The police caught them before they even had time to open the pizzas. I beleive they considered a few yards far enough and charged them with auto theft.
