All Terrains on 22's

I have got a awesome chance to get some 22's from a buddy. He had them on a 05 Silverado Z71 and babied the hec out of them. I think he was running 305-45-22's on his 05. The tires are going to need replacing anyway. Anybody have any ideas on the size I would be looking at for the 08 with a 2 inch RC level? I have looked at the sizes in 22's compared to the sizes in 18's and I think the 305-45-22 is pretty close to what I would need to run. If you guys have any suggestions just let me know. I appreciate it.

agreed^^. i wouldnt want to go over 285's with just a level. i personally think 22 inch rims on a truck dont belong.. they are just to big

Put the 22's put on the truck yesterday. They give it an aggressive look and would look sweet with an all terrain tire. The tires on the rims now are a 305/45/22 and are pretty much worn out. Even with the worn out tires they are very close to rubbing when turning. I dont think I am going to buy the rims. Makes my truck look like a street ride instead of a 4x4 and that look just aint what i am looking for.. Probably gonna hold out for some M/Ts in 285/65/18 or 305/60/18 on the stock rims.. Thanks for the input.

20's are the biggest i would go on a truck, but i sure do like the looks of 18's more than anything probably, especially if you are gonna go with 33"+ tires.
