Just ordered some 35's!

Well I was afraid to do this, but I was gonna get 33's. I was talking to my friends Dad & he said he could get the 35's cheaper than the 33's. I was like this is interesting. Only reason why I didn't wanna get the 35's in the first place is might having to regear later down the road. I got 3.73 gears right now.

With that being said, I went ahead & got (4) 35" Toyo MT for $1250. Pretty good price, imo.
So lift wise, I was gonna go with the RCX 5" originally with the 33's. No clue what to know to get now, probably still get the RCX 5" & maybe a 1.5" body lift?

With the RCX 5". Getting the lift & them doing the installation is a lil over $1,500. I don't think thats too bad. If I did this by myself, it would be a disaster.

Either gonna get a Zone 6.5" or FTS 7" size lift.

Was gonna go with the RCX 5 or 7.5"....but some people said I would regret that down the road.

Also, you won't need to regear your 3.73 if your running a 6l80. Im running that setup with the 6.2.

 

Even my brother in law has 3.42 in 35s and he's fine. He's running a 5.3. Little slow off the line, but cruises just fine.

I want the RCX bc, I can buy the lift & installation is only $1500,

If I get the FTS its $1400 for only buying the lift.

Well the 5" wont clear the 35's without trimming, plus it will look stuffed. If you add a body lift, you are looking at another $600-$800 installed anyway. So I would go with FTS or Fabtech. You already know how this will end anyway. "I wish it was a little bit higher" will always follow you around.

You're right.

I got my mind set on the FTS. Now a lot of 'em are saying get the 7-9" Bilstein's. Is that still the 5100's or what?
