install navigation help!

So I bought a gm navigation system online and now apparently I am finding out that not all systems work on gm vehicles.. Does anyone know if there is a way around this to make it work or anything i can do...

you need an amp and it has to be programed to work. below is my thread on installing mine, give Gregg a call and he can tell you if you radio will work.

my truck has a bose system in it so would I still need to get another one?

nope, it just need to be programed to your truck with nothing else added. once programed you will be good to go. Just call Gregg at the number listed in my thread and he will tell you if you got the appropriate radio for your truck.
