key fob 2 low battery

2005 tahoe, we only have one key fob and i changed the battery in it. It worked but i changed the battery anyway. How do you get rid of this? Went to the local dealer to see if flashing the computer for updates would clear the message. he checks the vin and says no updates for it. Any ideas? tried resetting the pcm by disconnecting battery, no change. and no codes on code reader on pcm.

Is the only key fob you DO have fob #1 or #2??

It is number 1 i think. I changed the battery in it.

If you only have 1 key fob, go through the re-learn procedure in the OM. Maybe after that it will only be expecting 1 fob signal
