Seems Bush is making his big push now.  Alone or not hes dead set on Iraq.  Experts say we are ready to invade Iraq within 3-4 weeks.  My brother in law just got shipped out.  95k already over there, 100k more on their way for our occupation of the black gold rich land.

I hope he (Bush) doesn't invade without the support of the UN.  I think that would be a huge mistake...

I'm not saying I'm a big supporter of the UN, but when all the other "super powers" aren't very supportive of a US invasion of Iraq, I'm afraid of what the consequences could be...  :wtf:

Good!

I for one am getting tired of every other countries "opinions"!  They're not the one's on Saddam's sh*t list!  They're not the one that lost two of the tallest skyscrapers in the world, not to mention all the human lifes in their, and for the most part many of those other countries don't mean much anyway.  Let's go into the two biggest opposing countries, France and Russia.

France?  The f*cking smelly, non deodorant wearing, over perfumed fairies! These were the same people whom bent over to Hitler in WWII then left it up to us and the UK to come beat up the big bad enemy for them.  This is a country of spineless, rude and inconsiderate jerks whom need to be invaded a few more times.  Perhaps that'll make them see the light!  Oh, didn't France harbor some of these terrorist cells too?  I'm sure you all remember the oil tanker that sank off the shores of France about a month ago.  The tanker pleaded with France's EPA to let them come in to port, get the load of oil off-loaded, and get the ship repaired.  France refused and basically sent warships out to escort the tanker further out in the Atlantic where the rough seas eventually split the tanker, causing an oil spill, the tanker sank, and now the oil slick is/was threatening the France shoreline.  That same shoreline France's rocket scientists wanted to protect by making the stupid decision to force the tanker out to sea!  Brilliant!  Absolultely brilliant!  But hey, that's France for you.  I'm ready to tell them to come get the Statue of Liberty piece by piece or else we'll bring it back to them in one piece and drop it on the Eiffel tower!  F*CK France!!

Then there's the Russian's.  These guys can't keep planes in the air, subs from sinking, and it takes 11,000 rubels to buy a loaf of bread!  I don't know about you, even though that may be the equivalent of $4 or $5 U.S. dollars after conversion, but I don't particulalry enjoy taking a wheelbarrow full of rubels to the grocery store to simply buy bread and milk!  Let alone having to back up the Brinx truck full of Rubels to afford a Big Mac at McDonald's.  The Russian's live with too much pride.  Had they put their pride aside for 20 minutes, perhaps those seamen on the Kursk would've had a chance to be saved by the Norweigan's (who had the equipment to do so) and be alive now to tell a tale.  Nope, These Commie bast*rds are to busy living in a cold war environment.  Then there's Chechnya and other unrest in that country.  Essentially what I'm saying is that Russia needs to sort out it's own problems before they issue their opinion on who we need to wipe out.

Then there's all the other countries that are both in and not in the UN that have their greedy little hands out for American support because of poverty, human suffering, corrupt governments and what else not in their countries.  They'll gladly take yours and my tax dollars, be sure of that!  Perhaps we need to cut their hands off next time they put them out.

I'm sorry, I applaud Bush for standing up proud as an American and telling all these other countries to "F*CK OFF!"  Someone yesterday I heard on the radio criticize Bush for his foreign policy of "It's my way or no way at all!" attitude.  GODD*MN RIGHT I say!

You wanna complain about our foreign policies?  Get your f*cking buisinesses and countrymen out of our country and close your hands and shut your mouths!

Don't even get me started on the protesters here!!    :wtf:

i think we have a catch 22 here. many people say lets leave saddam alone. sure, until we have another 9/11.  im sure somewhere hidden in his miles of property hes got chemical weopons and everything else. the man is crazy! then we have the un non supporters, i think cmntmxr pretty much summed them up! US is THE super power! personally n Korea bothers me more than saddam. i think the real reason that we have so much force out to sea is because after take care of saddam, n korea is next.

No, Ryan, completely different scenario.

We were on a "humanitarian" mission in Somalia. We needed to get one warlord out of the way in order to continue with the mission. Yes, we definitely were caught with our pants down, but a lot of our demise was attributed to other UN forces that were afraid to get bloody(Italians and French).

Rest assured, we will not go into Iraq as unprepared as we were in Somalia.

Since the incident in Mogadishu, we have relied on our allies less and ouselves more for that reason alone.

We (the Coalition) should have taken him out 12 years ago.

Now is the time, I say the UN needs to get a back bone, and the rest of the world needs to know that we're not dicking around anymore.

North Korea needs its a$$ kicked as well, oh but the UN will dance around, and one day everyone will wonder where the nuke that just went off came from.

After 9/11 the world needs to adopt a no tolerance additute with these 2/3rd world back a$$ward countries.

Enough is enough!!!!!!!!!

rant over.......

Friz I only meant they said it would take a few wks and thats what they are saying here.  I know we have the cababilities to make it quick.

The war may only take a few weeks. Look how fast they surrendered last time!

The occupation and rebuild could take years...

I agree Saddam is a crazy SOB dictator who lives off the riches of his oil and gives very little to his starving people.  I would love to see him exiled and I wish the job was completed the first time we were there.

I lost a cousin in the Gulf War, and I have a nephew headed out for this military buildup.  I know you are saying that you are willing to put your life on the line when you joined the Armed Forces, but it still doesn't take the pain away when you lose a loved one...  :wtf:

We are willing and do put our lives out there. But you are 100% right, Shane.  It still hurts when a loved one, relative, or friend gets killed, whether in the line of duty or any other way. We're just trained to put those feelings away temporarily until we get a chance to grieve. On the plus side, the fact that we are very close to our comrades in arms is why we fight so well. I'm spending most of my energy looking out for my team members. They do the same for me.

Your nephew is in good hands. Keep the faith, brother. :wtf:

We just need to take care of business and clean up our mess.  End things once and for all as best we can.  Just extending deadlines and allowing non-compliance.
