DORMAN 294-213 BACKING PLATES ????

Spent about an hour last night trying to figure out how these will fit on my 2003 Yukon. Has anyone installed these before, they are the 2 piece ones that do not require pulling the axles

The problem I am encountering is the arm for the e-brake cable does not seem to fit. My old ones were so deteriorated so I have nothing to compare to.

Thanks

I haven't had a problem when replacing them.

Finally got them to fit right. However after putting rotors back on they are coming in contact with the inside edge of the rotor and making a screeching noise.

I think I should have gone with the 1 piece as it seems what is rubbing against the rotor is the edge where the two pieces mate

I did not price the dealer. They were about 40 bucks at o'reillys

I don't even know if the dealer would have a 2 piece.

Should be plenty of clearance between the rotor face and the plate

I remember doing these a while back. You have to pull the axle shafts with the GM ones which is not worth it. That's why I went with the Dorman 2-piece. If I remember correctly, they didn't install identical to the way the stock ones did. I spent a while trying to figure out how they went on because I was having fitment issues. I'll try to grab some pics in the next day or so if you still can't figure it out.
