Added some accessories

I've had my new truck 3 weeks now. I spent the last 2 weeks adding some goodies and upgrades. My only reservation when buying it was that it was a lot of white paint to look at. I felt it needed it some color, so I added a bed liner, rear wheel-house liners, mud flaps, and bed rail caps, all in black of course. This gives it some contrast I think. I also added a Sat Nav stereo with back-up camera, cargo hooks, a bed extender and some 6" oval chrome step rails. With the exception of the Sat Nav, everything I added was a "Genuine GM Accessory." Also, with the exception of the Sat Nav, everything I added was something I had on a previous truck and really appreciated. This is the only time I've been able to add them all at once. This is not meant to be a review of the parts but I will say everything I added was a perfect fit. It all went in 1st try and fit exactly how it was supposed to. The stereo and back up camera are aftermarket items from a company named Rosen. They have an entire line designed to be exact factory replacements for many makes and models. All the OEM functions such as Bluetooth, Onstar, voice dialing, and steering wheel controls all work same as with the factory radio. The dealer installed them and warranties them for the same 3yr/36K mi truck warranty. My next project is to swap out the front center seat for the correct LT2 center console. I located a brand new LT2 console for my truck out of state, last week. It's supposed to arrive this Thur and I'll try to get it in over the weekend. Anyone looking at accessories for their truck, I can highly recommend the Genuine GM brand.

Thanks Matt. I appreciate you taking the time. Guess I must have written something wrong again.

Black on white looks good, nice choice. It's great when you get the truck exactly how you want it. The little things really do make a difference, at least for me.

Looks great. What sat/nav is that? It fits like factory.

Dont mean to HIjack the thread but would the rear wheels house liners work with my Weathertech mudflaps?

Thanks you guys for the compliments. As far as the liners and mud flaps go, the Weathertechs should fit. The liners stay inside the wheel opening and leave the "lipped" edge free for mounting screws or clips. The GM mud flaps mount without even touching the liners.

These GM rear fender liners look x10's better on the white, silver, & red trucks!! Should have been installed as standard equipement IMHO.

Looks great. Another free MOD you can do to that slick truck is remove those 1" aluminum rear spacer blocks. They are between the rear leaf spring packs at your rear axle mount pads. It's a simple free MOD & can help tame that crazy 4x4 1 ton rack GM gave these trucks. Just add a single washer under those u-bolt nuts when your going back with evrything....

Do you mean to level the truck's stance but do it by lowering the rear instead of raising the front? Can you explain further what you mean about taming the steering rack. How is it affected and is there any concerns that removing the rear axle blocks might throw off front end alignment or function? Thanks.
