Transfer case worries

My 2005 2500HD (172,000) has a little play/ delay when you take off pretty good, but when you drive like you would daily, you can't feel that slight play, so today I went underneath the truck and when I push on my drive shaft there is play where it connects inside the transfer case, is this normal? What could this be? Anybody's truck do this? I'm thinking its a bearing in the output of the transfer case, I'm not sure.

As I'm laying underneath the truck with my feet coming out the drivers side, if I push up or towards the cab there is play

Is this caused by a worn out slip yoke? Anybody?

its normal to a small amount of movement up and down,is it leaking at the rear output seal?

No it doesn't have that hole in the case either
