Anyone running Nitto Trail Grapps?

I currently have 35" Dick Cepek FC-II's on my truck and they ride great, little noise, but nothing my radio cant cover up.

Was wondering if anyone has any real world experience with the Nitto Trail Grappler M/T tires? I know they will be a bit noisier than my current all terrains, but how do they ride? do they pull in either direction? Do they feel wobbly going down the highway? Anything that will help me out with choosing the correct tire.

They look mean too, which is half the battle with a lifted truck :D

Oh yeah, Im looking at getting them in 37x12.5r17, but figured they should all be the same, but I know you start losing "control" as they get bigger.

Thanks

Junk. Keep the FC 2's or stick to any cooper product. I had a set of nittos once, overpriced garbage IMO. But I had mud grapplers, they were louder than sin and wore out suuuuper fast. Punctured easy too.

Cooper, Mickey Thompson and dick cepeks are where it's at!!

I saw a set of Cooper STT's like two years ago. I think those would be too noisy. It is my DD, so it cant be too much of a mud tire. But they looked mean as shit from what I remember

M/Ts and D/C's is where its at! I plan on getting some D/C's on the Colorado when I get it lifted and maybe bigger rims.

how many miles you usually get out of the STT's?

I have 14k on mine now, still about 2/3rd's tread left. Great tires so far. Was just looking for something a little beefier, but I just saw that they have a 37x13.5r17 FC-II

My old truck almost got 80k Kms out of them. This truck is a little harder to keep rubber LOL, right now they are at about 60% maybe have about 25,000kms on them ahah

Only thing is dick cepek stopped making the fc-2's now, so you can't get the lifetime warranty thing anymore so you gotta buy 5 tires. Or at least I would.

I priced some 35x13.5 R20's it was 3200 installed for 5 tires up here LOL.

Does anyone know how Toyo Open Country M/T's ride and handle? Found a pretty good deal for 37's on 17" Dick Cepek DC2 wheels for 2261

I've got toyos on my truck, they're a little noisy, but I've always had a/t's but they're not as loud as some mud tires I've heard. They handle pretty good on pavement, and do better than the nitto terra grapplers I had before on wet pavement. Mine don't pull, I can let go at 75 goin down the freeway, and it go straight. I love mine and when they wear out I will definitely get a new set.

It seems like every lifted powerstroke owner around here has them, which is why im hesitant on even considering them. But getting wheels for another 500 seems like a pretty good deal. Then I could have two sets of tires and wheels
