What kind of wax does everyone use?

That diamond coat clear is just regular clear. There's nothing any different than that of any other car being made these days. Any good, decent brand wax is fine as long as you properly prepare the paint prior to wax/polishing

There's a difference between a wax and a sealant. Sealant protects the paint and wax is for the shine. Sealants are usually polymers, and man made and waxes are natural, such as Carnuba. A lot of sealants give a nice shine as well. Adam's Quick Sealant is a nice easy product to use, also Ammo Skin works well.

I'm currently using Wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant 3.0 (2 coats) followed up by 2 coats of Pinnacle Liquid Souveran. I reapply the paint sealant 2x per year and a coat of the Pinnacle every 3 months. I used Zaino for years. It lasted pretty good, but never had the deep, wet looking shine I was looking for. My current system makes my wife's black 335i look like wet paint with a nice deep shine. I haven't done the truck yet, but it's coming up soon.
