Ecm location help

I'm needing to take my ecm off and ship it back to Justin to change my tune. I think I know it's location but want to make sure. It's a 2007 NBS Vortex Max with the 6.0. Is it right next to the extra battery tray on drivers side, closest to the fender?? Is there much to taking it off?? Thanks

Yes that is your ECM, should be pretty simple to remove.

Yep that's where its at,theres actually two modules there,the ECM,and the TCM,the ECM is the bigger of the two.

So I take it that's the one closest to the engine, with the two wiring harness's going in the front of it??

I guess you could consider it closest to the engine,you are correct in that it has two connectors going into it,the best way I can describe it is the ECM is on the front of the mounting bracket,and the TCM is on the backside,and as I said before...the ECM is the larger of the two.

Rich has you setup perfectly. Just know that the connectors have latches you need to slide first to unlock them, then you can move them.

Appreciate the info. I see the red latches on top of the harness's. I guess when you slide the latches back you can just pull

the plugs straight off. Sorry to ask so many questions on this, it's probably a lot simpler than I think I just don't want to take

any chances of screwing it up. Thanks again
