When you get your HPtuners all set up and installed, let me know and I'll help you get going in the right direction.

I appreciate that, I decided this afternoon to let Lew do his magic. In fact I just ordered everything, I was unsure if I wanted to dedicate the time like I did on my scoot learning another tuning application.

Keep us posted on the results MZOBARG. I have to get a CAI next and will get a tune shortly after. Haven't decided which route to go but since I have never had a vehicle tuned I will likely take it and have it done.

The tune is worth the coin, the canned tune from diablo is better than stock but the custom tune form Lew is so much better. I'm in the process of letting the fuel trims settle in on my first custom tune from Lew, I'll drive it for 150 miles or so and record some data, and send it to him for refinement.

So far I'm pleased, wish I could dedicate the time to using HP tuners, I'd love to tune it myself, but my knowledge base on these engines is very limited, unlike my V-twin Harley knowledge. I've built and tuned some bad@ss scooters over the past several years.

Here's a couple vids I took today.. No time really put into them, just on the fly, but they still give a good idea of what the exhaust can do... I'm impressed and really like the tone --

I just installed the Magnaflow single out a few days ago. I did it myself without a lift or ramps in under 2 hours. I did have to cut the stock exhaust right after the muffler to get it off the truck. Probably wouldnt have to do that if I had a lift but it was going to scrap anyway. I have ran magnaflow on my 2007 Chevy Impala SS for 5 years and it had zero issues. It was perfect for that car. Reason why I bought it for this truck. The v4 drone is not that bad. Be warned though, if you want to make the neighbors jump out of a dead sleep, this is not the set up for your truck. However if you want a nice mild tone that comes alive at an increase in throttle, doesnt wake the neighbors, and sounds great when driving normally, this is the set up to have.
