Magnaflow Catback for K2 Trucks

Is there anyone here that has the catback magnaflow installed? Reviews?

I'm curious about the same thing! I'm interested in their single side exit system. Borla was my first pick but they are only going to make dual exit systems for our new trucks so Magnaflow seems like a good choice.

I have had magnaflow cat backs on the last two Silverados, and willdo the same on my Denali 6.2 as soon as it arrives. I do the single in and dual outlet to create dual catback exhaust sys. I like duals. The manaflow gives you a great sound. Personnally, I don't see a down side to

Ok ill be the guinea pig. Dual rear or dual sides? Any pros or cons to either method? I'm trying to limit droan.

Don't see a downside. Magnaflow mufflers are stainless and straight-through design, I did muffler swaps with them on my last two trucks and they sounded awesome. I'm sure the full cat-back will be nice. Pic's and Vid's mandatory when you're done!! Good luck!!

How does the magnaflow get rid of the V4 drone?

Magnaflow is a very quite muffler so it probably wont have much drone. Regardless though you should get rid of AFM anyways with a handheld. Your motor will love longer and it will be much more pleasant to drive.

I hope not too quiet. I'm hoping for a little classy rumble during idle and some roar during WOT. Similar to how the 5.0 or ram sounds.

I had magnaflow on a 07 LTZ silvy and it did drone, I have the flowmaster force 2 system w/ the 50 series muffler and there is barely any drone.

 

I was always a magnaflow guy after having their catbacks on both my silvy and G8 but the flowmaster I put on this new truck is really nice especially for price. It is same material as the magnaflow- 409 stainless w/ 304 tips. In the past I typically wrote off flowmaster systems because they were often alumnized steel not stainless.

 

I haven't had a chance to post a clip but I will do so today. It is probably a tamer sounding exhaust than the magnaflow, so that would also contribute to there being less drone compared to magnaflow
