XM Radio - Weather, NAVI

My XM trial is about to expire... I don't plan to renew. My question (for those that have NAVI & Weather) will I loose the weather app? Is this tied into and apart of XM service?

yes you will loose weather and traffic alerts.... you can get packages that just have the XM radio, but the weather and xm traffic are addons to that

yes.. don't care about traffic alerts as that is a PITA. Don't care about XM radio ( HD radio sounds better... and it's free) But would like to still be able to use weather app..

i could be wrong, but most likely you have to get XM radio with the weather. the traffic alerts are annoying and useless IMO

XM price is easily negotiable. Call and tell you want to cancel. When they ask why, state price is ridiculous. When they shoot another promo price at you, still say too much. I managed to get it for 29.99 for the year. Only thing that sucks, if you want to add weather and traffic, they won't give it to you unless your XM radio package is full price and not discounted.

Yea if you cancel just say it's too recursive abd they will throw you out an offer for a package with everything for like $25 for 5 months for the XM everything plan. Not bad if you ask me...
