Winter Tires

I am really impressed with Tire Rack-price, service and delivery. Shopping locally for a tire/wheel setup for my new truck and couldn't find any decent wheels that weren't chrome. Finally went online and found PVD chrome wheels at TRack. PVD unlike Crome will take the sodium based goop put on roads during winter. I was expecting less shine than Crome but new wheels look like Crome. I went for smooth spokes for ease of cleaning even though they had some better looking ones!

Next shopping for tires found best price at Costco but when ordering they were out. Back to TRack found my tires and they were cheaper. If you order the set from TRack they mount and Force balance free. Shipping was less than sales tax so I saved over $100 from Costco and get a $70 rebate. Tires/wheels arrived 1 day after order 700 miles LV Nev to Boise ID. Costco was $100+ cheaper than next best price.

Edit-Consumer Reports blurry so here are top 5: mich Xi3 (cars); Mich Xi2; Hankook I crept; Pirelli210 Erie II; Bridgestone Blizzack. I ran Blizzack's on prior vehicles and they are very good winter tires.
