I think it's mostly a result of all the 4 week constraints. Seems to be worse with Denali 6.2 orders. My Denali 6.2 was ordered 9-28 and moved quickly through event codes with TBW of 10-28, then 11-4, then 11-11 and finally built 11-12. There was at least 2weeks where it appears no Denali 6.2's were built. GM is just being more realistic now....but since yours hasn't moved to 2,000/2,500, accepted/preferenced, your dealer may not have allocation yet for a Denali. Production delays reduce dealer allocations even though sold orders come ahead of dealer stock orders. Have you discussed allocation with your dealer? The dealer would know more about his allocation but might not have exact dates. It's a bummer but on the bright side sales aren't real strong and GM can build a lot of Denali's in a week. They were at 20,000 a month in the Mexico plant so they just need parts to start cranking out Volumn-just MY OPINION.

Forgot to mention timing of orders...orders placed in the system by Saturday aren't accepted until the following Tuesday. If the order-say from a Friday didn't get entered until a Monday then you have an automatic 11-12 days until order accepted by GM. Or there are times when GM freezes orders because of backlog.

I ordered on 10/22 and was accepted on 11/6 been at 1100 ever since. I am hoping Jennifer from GM customer service has some better news tomorrow. Mine is a topaz blue 1LZ 6.2 Max Trailer with dark ash bench seat, camper mirrors, LED bed lights, & 20" chrome wheels. So other than the 6.2 nothing that has been constrained on the Silverado. I do wonder about my dealers allocation, they are a huge dealer (2nd largest volume in MI) my salesman says they get more allocation than most other dealers around here (he said they got 3 ZR1s). That said they do already have over 160 Silverado's in stock now.

Mine was also accepted on 11/6. I'm not sure if it's an allocation issue right now because I haven't heard from anyone who ordered in the month of November that has been assigned a TPW. Obviously we all order at different dealers so someone's order would have gone through passed 1100 if GM was actually picking them up. I feel once they get a definite Denali/6.2 production week established, most of our orders will follow the same timeline. Anyone else agree?

Anyone heard anything today, last couple weeks GM customer service usually has given me an update by now? Curiously if I put my order number in on the Chevy order tracking it no longer finds my it, wondering if they are doing some upgrades or their software crashed.

I ordered a cc slt all terrain with everything including 6.2l on october 10th. Got accepted a few days later and as of last tueaday im still at 1100...

I have a feeling the entire line is on qc hold. Gm will not say anything about it, not even to the dealers.

Can your event code change any day of the week, or are they updated weekly on a specific day? Needless to say, I'm a lucky 1100. Do I check it every day, or wait, till Tuesday when Jennifer gives me an update?

Would love to know the official answer to this. I have been told that it only updates on Tuesdays by my dealer, but in an online chat with GM customer service they said it can be updated any day of the week...

I just looked on the Chevy web site and found where my Silverado LTZ 6.2l/Max Tow has been moved out of "Order Placed" (1100?) to "Queued for Production". So, how long does it take from this new position until the vehicle gets a "born on date"? OH WAIT, SORRY. We're talking cars not beers. How long before I get estimated build date? Thanks in advance for any info.

Mine too must have changed in the last day or so.

Very similar trucks. Mine is the Deep Ruby Metallic, Cocoa/Dune interior, with the LED bed lights, 20" wheels, same engine, max trailer, and camper mirrors. It has a few other options, but still very similar. Mine was accepted on 11/12/13. So, whenever they are being born, they are being born together. Sorry, mine only has to make it to Texas. Not Michigan.
