The 1100 Event Code Thread

Can your event code change any day of the week, or are they updated weekly on a specific day? Needless to say, I'm a lucky 1100. Do I check it every day, or wait, till Tuesday when Jennifer gives me an update?

I can now confirm that it can change any day of the week. I was updated by Amber (for Jennifer) on Tuesday that nothing changed and I was still at 1100. Today I received a message from Jennifer that I am now at 3100.

I have the exact same truck as you but a Denali. My order was accepted on 11/6. I don't see why I should be in any different of a situation than you right now. I'm still at 1100 as of 2 days ago. Maybe something changed recently.

My order was accepted the same day as yours I have not heard from GM but on the Chevy tracking site it has changed status. It now shows as queued for production. You may want to plug your order number in there and see what it comes up with.

I don't think theres anyway of tracking GMC orders without contacting someone from the dealer/customer service.

Jeff, I didn't know GMC doesn't track orders like Chevy does. I was referring to the "track your order" on chevrolet.com The tracking info is limited and not as detailed as what you can get from the GM customer service reps here. But that said my status on their site changed in the last day or so even when my last update from GM customer service last Tuesday put me at 1100 still

I've been at 1100 since 11/6. Just received notice that I'm at 3100. Anyone with experience with 3100 have a guess as to when I'll receive my TPW? Seems like this December production bunch is mostly 6.2L crew cabs. Hopefully she's assembled before the end of the year!

I just looked on the Chevy web site and found where my Silverado LTZ 6.2l/Max Tow has been moved out of "Order Placed" (1100?) to "Queued for Production". So, how long does it take from this new position until the vehicle gets a "born on date"? OH WAIT, SORRY. We're talking cars not beers. How long before I get estimated build date? Thanks in advance for any info.

Very similar trucks. Mine is the Deep Ruby Metallic, Cocoa/Dune interior, with the LED bed lights, 20" wheels, same engine, max trailer, and camper mirrors. It has a few other options, but still very similar. Mine was accepted on 11/12/13. So, whenever they are being born, they are being born together. Sorry, mine only has to make it to Texas. Not Michigan.

The question has been answered. I received an email from Jennifer this morning that I am at 3100, with a "Born On Date" (TPW) the week of December 23. (Merry Christmas to Me!!!)

I ordered a Sierra SLT with a 6.2L engine and the max trailer package on 11/5/13. I just got word today from the dealership that my order now has a target production week of 12/23/13 with an anticipated deliver in mid January.

I ordered my Crew Cab Sierra SLT with a 6.2L engine All Terrain on Oct 15th and was accepted 11/7 I am currently at 1100. Please cross your fingers for me that it will have a build date before Jan. Order # RJWCMD N.H.

Just got word that mine will also be built the week of 12/23/13. How long are we thinking it'll take to be delivered to the dealers? Sounds like a bunch of 6.2L crew cabs will be built around 12/23 in Mexico. They should have no problem filling up a train to Chicago I hope.
