Ram convert

Been lurking and reading for some time. I pulled the trigger on a 2014 Silverado LT 4x4 double cab with the 5.3 and max tow.

I was able to drive a 2014 loaner for a week which got me thinking of trading, it was only a 2wd with the 3.42 rear end but it was impressive.

My 12 ram was a nice truck with lots of power but it was not as refined as the silvy I would rate the power between the two as equal with the silvy bringing the power on much smoother. The ride is about equal but the ram was not set up to haul the weight the silly is. Gas mileage is far better with silvy with 3.73 gears vs the 3.55 in the ram. I average 19.5 with mixed driving where I could not get north of 16 with the ram, the loaner I drove for week was getting 20.5, so 19.5 is impressive for a4x4 with 3.73.

I plan on a truck cap and a true AT tires in the near future, these are a need with my addiction to the outdoors and hunting. The only thing I wish my truck had was the backup cam. I hope everyone has a happy thanksgiving and safe travels this holiday season.

Congrats! I really liked the new dodge, but I could not resist this GMC. It's so refined, truely a nice truck.

Congrats, I also traded in a 2012 Ram for a 2014 Silverado. No comparison really, the new GM twins outshine the current Rams in every way possible.
