How is this an indictment of the whole country?

This was a few knuckleheads who like Chevy wheels a lot more than I do.

yeah "knuckleheads" can pull off that.... It was obviously a well thought out and executed theft by professional thieves.

There is a large GM dealership close to me, the largest in Western Canada actually, that had a similar issue a few years back. They actually went the extra mile and there is 24 hour security on that lot now. Sometimes I finish work late and end up going home around midnight. You can see guards with reflective gear walking around the parking lot with flashlights. My fiance's parents know a salesman at that dealership well, according to him, they haven't had a single issue since.

 

The problem is, I bet they pass on the cost of security guards to the consumer.
