Will 305/50/20s clear on stock wheels without a leveling kit?

Once the truck I ordered gets here (hopefully sometime next month) I plan on swapping the stock 275/55/20 all season tires out for a set of Cooper Zeon LTZs. Seeing how this will be a lease truck I don't want to reprogram for taller tires. The 305/50 is almost identical in height and just shy of an inch wider. The question is will they clear on a stock rim with no leveling kit? I searched here and on the net and haven't found an answer. If I have to trim tweak or deal with rubbing I will probably just go with the stock size. I just figured it may look a little better with a little more meat under it.

My buddy at Discount Tire thought they would also as he ran them on his older Silverado (not sure on the year) but I am pretty sure he had aftermarket wheels also. Anyone have any pictures of 305s without a level kit?

I have 305/55/20 tires and a 2.5" leveling kit and the tires rub on the upper control arm on a lock to lock turn. Not bad but they do make some ugly noises when trying to make tight turns.
