goldensoles Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 I picked the wheels out at dealer and had them order for me and put on along with tires and leveling kit. I asked what offset they are and he said they were 0 offset and I have no rubbing issues at all. So, I would probably go with the 0 offset. I am guessing you are going to at least put a level kit on? If not, you may have rubbing issues. Thanks for the compliment! Thanks! jdg, Truck looks great. I've got a 14' CC on order in the same color and I'm looking at installing the same tires (undecided on wheels). Now when I am on the Gear website the only two options for offset on the 6-bolt 18x9 are +18 and and -12mm.. I'm not saying they aren't 0 offset, but there's a good chance they are +18. Another thing that is confusing is that it looks like the Chrome 726 is available in 18x9 0 offset. I've been researching a lot whether a 0 offset, 9in wide rim, and 33x12.50 will work without rubbing and I'm doubtfull. I'm thinking of going with a +10-12 offset then seeing if I have room for a 0.5" wheel spacer. Please correct me if I am wrong! If can go straight for the 0 offset I will. Later, someone on here was asking about the offset and I called back to ask what it was because I wasn't sure and that is when he said 0. This is what I went off of, his last statement. I never had a receipt to show what they exactly are because they put them on when I purchased truck. I don't think there is any way to know for sure. That's probably not helping you any, but that's what I know from what I was told. I was like you, originally thinking a 0 offset would rub but he said that's what they always use on the 2014's. Whatever they are the don't rub. Thanks for the compliment and good luck with yours!
BlueWrapper Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 Toyo M/T 33x12.5x18, Gear Alloy 726MB Big Block wheels, Readylift front leveling kit color matched bow-tie, matching tint in front, Flowmaster 40 muffler Awesome truck. Do you mind if I ask what kind of MPG you're getting running this tire/wheel set-up. I'm looking at similar set-up in terms of weight and wondering what the real world MPG people are getting. Thanks

It usually shows upper 12's with city. On the occasion I drive highway it's anywhere between 14.5 to 22 depending on wind and hills. Thanks for the compliment. I have checked this with entering actual miles and gallons and the mpg showing on odometer is always within a tenth. Close enough I trust it.
kderen Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Very nice truck I am trying to figure if the zero offset with allow for 33's
