what can I do?

Is there anything I can do to my 2011 5.3 without voiding my powertrain warranty (assume a picky dealership). Im assuming no, but figured I would ask just in case. I have 2 years/ ~50k miles left on the powertrain warranty and would like to keep it for a while at least. Most prevalent would be 'mods' that would increase torque and F.E. Say a tuner for example.

Thanks in advance!

Just leave it stock...... honestly. If you are that worried about your warranty leave the damn thing alone lol.

Agree, there's nothing you can do without spending large amounts if money or defiantly voiding the warranty to make it a even a little faster

There are any number of things you can do and will not affect the warranty. Exhaust, intake, tunes, etc. You can do a Diablow tune and return to stock tune when you take it to the dealer, and restore the Diablo tune later. Many who have done this claim that the only thing that the dealer can tell is the engine management record files are not available, since tuning and restoring will erase them and the engine has to start over doing it's event logging. But that also occurs when you disconnect the battery for a few minutes. I have no direct experience with that, and only relaying what others have done. I have never heard of anyone getting sacked on a warranty issue from using a custom tune. I even custom tune my commercial trucks, and have never even had anyone at a shop ask about it. And we're talking about engines alone that cost as much or more than a lot of folk's entire vehicles.

It all depends on whether you have an enlarged paranoia gland. If you do, then leave the pickup stock and sleep well. If you do not suffer from EPG, then use good sense and modify responsibly.
