Mouse Invasion

As indicated by the topic, mice have invaded my 2001 Sierra Z71.

 

I am trying to remove just the console compartment (versus the entire console). I have removed the screws but still cannot remove the black box portion.

 

What am I missing?

Do you have the full floor console?

 

It's actually very simple to remove as a whole. Way easier than trying to disassemble it. Just remove the four bolts at the bottom of the console and lift it up. I think it will come up without interference from the dash portion of the console, but its been a while since I took mine out.

Moth balls keep mice out. Had in my 66 GTO and no issues. Didnt smell the moth balls either. Smell went out side windows if crackewd down a little. Most of them in the truck engine compartment and a few on the floors.

Did you remove the bolts underneath the rubber mat?

I couldn't take that lol I'd rip everything out
