2014 Z71 LTZ. Is the love it or return it program still in effect?

Recommended Posts

Bought my LTZ 5.3 on Christmas Eve. It has 500 miles on it now. I thought I would be happy with the 5.3, but I REALLY want the 6.2! Is there a way for me to upgrade without losing my a** off? Is the love it or return it program still around? I'm just wanting to upgrade! Any help would be appreciated!

Not going to happen. Should have test drove both. Enjoy your bath, and your vette motor.

I agree^^ lots of potential with the 5.3 -also, don't expect a race car these are pick-up's. Mine works just fine I'm deleting the muffler today and installing a CIA

Traded it in 30 minutes ago. Lost $1500 on it though. 550 miles on the odometer.

And I did test drive both. Just thought I would be happy with the 5.3 and save a bit of money.

That's not bad at all. What kind of deal did you get on the new truck?

$1,500 for not thinking things through initially isn't a bad punishment.

You didn't get your initial tax back tho.. And you had to pay your tax on the new truck. I'm interested how you got away with it for only 1500 more when the option for the 6.2 and packages it comes with is like 3g's. With all the tax loses it had to be more.

I was guessing $1,500 plus the additional cost of the 6.2 is what he meant...............

Oh. Sorry I didn't clarify. I traded for a Jeep. I paid 43k for the Z71 and they have me 42k trade value. So yeah, I also lost the 2k +/- in taxes. The 6.2 just wasn't worry the extra money this time. I will be back to buy a used one next year.

Didn't like the 5.3 so you traded for a Jeep? If your just going to wait till next year, why not just keep the 5.3??? Well, hope you enjoy it.
