Remote start

I just bought a 2013 chevy Silverado with a remote starter. The starter works fine but the problem is when I put the key in the ignition and turn it to on the position the truck shuts off and then I have to turn the key off and then start it normally.

Factory remote start or aftermarket? I'd bring it back to the dealer or installer.

If factory remote start, is the door opened or closed when you put the key in and turn it on? On my factory remote start it doesn't matter, but mine is a 2010 and was installed after delivery. Used the factory 2 way remote start though.

That's not right with either the GM or aftermarket id bring it back
