Window Regulator options

My drivers side window is starting to show signs of old age, and will need to be replaced soon. I already replaced the passenger side years ago, but can't remember if the regulator kit from O'reilly's came with a motor or not. Long story short, which should I use for my truck? O'reilly's shows one without the motor, Dorman #740-644. RockAuto has one with the motor, Dorman #741644.

 

O'reilly's is more expensive, yet available to pick up today

RockAuto is way cheaper, but takes time to get here.

 

Anyone replaced these before? The window goes up really slow, as if it is binding up slightly. The passenger side cable broke, and works a lot better with the new regulator. Again, can't remember if it came with a motor or not, but seems like a good idea to replace the motor while I have it all apart.

They come both ways. Best to replace the whole unit, motor and all. Buy it from Rock or Amazon

I always just did the full unit when I was wrenching....

Nuff said. I'll just go with the whole setup, and call it a day!
