2008 2500hd Gmc Power steering

I started my truck up to move it and heard a weird noise and I had no power steering and no power brakes. Looked under the hood and one of the lines going to gear box had popped off (I'm guessing its just a return line because it was just clamped on).

I put the line back on and filled the fluid. After driving back and forth on the driveway turning the wheel 50 times I finally got steering and brakes back. Drove it around for an hour and haven't had anymore problems. What could have cause the line to blow off? and do I need to worry about this happening while i'm driving down the road.
