2011HD weird DIC issue

remote door lock setting in Dic I have set to horn and light checked when I lock the doors and neither happens, If I unlock the lights come on as programmed, if I hit the panic the horn works, horn works normally too. Only thing I noticed that also didn't seem to work was the delay door lock. I can lock it unlock it , remote start works. Just the one or two settings don't seem to respond I did a reset too. The delay door lock does make the chime noise but fails to lock or beep horn. 2011HD with 9900 miles

Well I figured it out, we had 65 weather yesterday with rain, then it dropped to 20 I went out and was opening doors on the truck one would not open but it did not appear to budge. No dome light on or door indicator on dash either. My last recourse before I was going hit the sack tonight was to go change the setting on he DIC to no lights or horn on remote lock and then back. While I was doing so I walked around the truck and gave every door a firm push. The door in question was still frozen so I could not open it. But after pushing on it I heard a very faint click. I don't know why the door ajar light was not on but their must be 2 levels of door sensing at least it appears this way.

I find GM to be a bit strange in regards to how they sense an door not closed completely. On my Ext cab model (GMT900) the rear doors can be not closed completely, but the front doors are, so no door ajar, but also no delayed lock, sometimes. Other times driving down the road with a rear door not closed tightly will make the door ajar light go on and off as the truck does the natural flexing going down a bumpy road. For whatever reason I never think of the rear door causing it.

Id like to see how it senses it, appears to be 2 levels of sensing
