Great looking truck! I like that you left the front lower air damn on. I think it looks better with it on.

Yeah you usually have to cut or trim it to fit bigger tires.

to each his own, I am glad you like it, that is all that matters. Dont take this personal, but something seems off. It seems like it needs larger tires to be proportionate. Can you fit larger meats? there seems to be a lot of void in the wheel wells in relation to the lift height to the tires.

You could run a 37 if you wanted to cut the valence and inner fenders on the rear of the front fender. GM just makes the fenders so square that you have a lot of room to the top of the fender but hardly no room front to rear.

It looks awesome with the 35s, no crime in a little extra clearance. And 37's means more cost, worse performance and drive-ability. This truck looks siiiiiick!!!!

37's would have KILLED IT. The 35 dropped the mileage from 21 to 13-14 on the highway at 70mph. I would have never thought it would have been that bad. Still has decent power. Just horrible mileage.

To each his own, but no one in our office cared for it.

I agree looks like to much lift for my taste. I dont like how there is so much room form the top of the tire to the top of the wheel well.

looks great makes my stock 1500 look like a s10. I would like to see it with a little more lift and a set of 44x24 tires

Great looking truck and color, they look so much better without fender flares, the GMC stock "flares" look great and promote the large stocky build fenders.

What were the final measurements, measured from the bottom of the fender (fender lip) to the ground front and back?

Sorry I'm just replying. The ground to top of fender in the front is 47" and the rear is 47 3/4".

Love the truck! Did you put on any kind of performance chip/computer? I have the Max Energy and I'm getting about 15-16 mpg average.

Damn yours looks bad ass too. I love the grapplers. I had them on my 02 and would have them again if I didn't have to drive 200 miles to work. They just don't last.

I haven't tried anything yet but I'm going to have to try something. No one is making gears for them yet so I have thought about looking into the programmers. It just won't stay in overdrive. Needs more power. When I pull my commander it is getting 8.8-9.5 mpg. Which is going to be unacceptable come hunting season when I drag it 40 miles a day for my entire days off. I'll have to get another job just for that.

I love the Nitto's also...this will be my 3 pair on 2 different trucks over the years. The tires wear really good from my experiences. I got 40,000+ out of my last set. You really need a programmer, it makes a world of difference and I'm getting around 15 highway and a little better in city around 16/17mpg.
