I spent all day today washing and waxing my truck and Im still not done. My arm is about to fall off. It hurts more now, the after a day or porn sites and a tub fo vaseline     I'll get some pictures of the truck tomorrow after I get the final coats of wax on and get batteries for my camera.

    I don't wash and wax! My truck gets washed maybe three times a year, tops. I waxed it the summer before last.

I just hate driving into town with my sweetie when my truck is dirty. I kinow, I've got it easier than most of you because I live in Southern California. No snow and  not much rain. I  keep a healthy coat of "Der Real Stuff" on my paint. When the truck  does get dirty it cleans up much easier.

Believe me, when I tow the family trailer out to the desert  my Silverado gets pleanty dirty. I recently changed jobs and now one of my responsibilities is taking care of a fleet  of 40 trucks. Some Ferd's some Chevys even a few Toyo's. Every one of them is white. The bosses truck is a 2000 2500 Silverado 4x4 black. His wife's truck is a 2002 Silverado CC with a Duramax dark charcol in color. Of course my truck is the light Pewter. None of the fleet trucks have had very good care on the exterior. I have had a crewman detailing them for the last two weeks and the boss told me today how good he thought the trucks were looking. I'm going to have some of the older trucks repainted. The finish is to far gone for wax to help.  I've got two mechanics on hand to handle mechanical problems and a yard man to help with the detailing. The crews who drive the trucks on a daily basis are getting an earfull when they come in at the end of the day. I wont let them park the trucks till they are unloaded and cleaned up. I wish you could all come over to help out.

Same here, but for different reasons.  My '03 was used as a PICKUP, under orders by the other half, to haul 30 bags of POTTING SOIL from Wal-Mart to the house.

It has finally come to this....  :wtf:  The agony and embarassment of it all.

Just be like me, my car finally saw some soap and water yesterday when I got the oil changed.  Heck, I had forgotten that it was black.  The only clean part on it was the windshield and that was all due to washer fluid.  I'm proud to say I neglect my washing and waxing duties during the winter months, but w/ all the snow and SALT why bother, you can't go more than 10' w/o the car getting dirty again anyways.
